The Operations Department is responsible for guiding and directing all Public Housing activities of the Fayette County Housing Authority in accordance with our Admissions and Continued Occupancy Policy and Mission Statement.

 

Public housing was established to provide decent and safe rental housing for eligible low-income families, the elderly, and persons with disabilities. Public housing comes in all sizes and types, from scattered single family houses to high rise apartments for elderly families. More information about Public Housing can be found here:

The FCHA manages several Public Housing Sites throughout the county with the office hours of 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Offices are closed on weekends and Holidays.
