Tenant Selection
It is the mission of the Fayette County Housing Authority to provide safe, decent, sanitary and affordable housing to low and very low income families, in an environment that fosters self-sufficiency and community pride. The Housing Authority is committed to building and maintaining housing for the citizens in our communities. We seek to create safe neighborhoods by partnering with individuals and organizations to provide housing, education and employment opportunities. We are dedicated to providing these communities with quality, affordable housing that is decent, well-maintained and free from drugs and violent crime.

In 3 of the family sites, there are units designated for the elderly, and these units are included in the total of 433. In order to be eligible for the Housing Program, the applicant must qualify under the Housing Authority’s Admissions and Occupancy Policies.
